Pune ahead of Mumbai for total students admitted in first round of FYJC Admission 2017


After the fyjc first merit list for class XI admissions for first year junior college (FYJC) was declared on July 10 at pune.11thadmission.net, Pune now has the largest number of completed admissions in Maharashtra with Mumbai next.

After fyjc round one merit list, 40,315 students were allotted seats in various colleges as per their preferences. A total of 3,141 students finally got admissions.

Pune being the highest number of admitted students, also tops in the number of cancelled applications, that is 13.Five students from Pune have also been rejected. Meanwhile Pune.11thadmission.net second merit list is scheduled to be declared on July 20, 2017.

Students who were allotted colleges as per their first preferences must mandatorily accept them, and if cancelled, will be out of the centralised admission procedure (CAP). Students who have been allotted Junior colleges between their second and 10th preferences, still can apply in the subsequent rounds.

The second largest number of admitted students are in Mumbai, with 3,007 admissions out of 1,56,507 allotted students after Pune. It stands with only nine cancellations and one rejection.

Out of 26,344 allotted seats, only 465 have been filled in Nagpur, with one cancellation and one rejection. FYJC round one admissions in Amravati, Aurangabad and Nashik, have zero cancellation or rejection, and still only 1,17,120, and 125 students have admitted for now.

Nashik had 14,965 students allotted as per their college preferences, Aurangabad had 10,560 students. The lowest number of students, 6,479 had been allotted colleges as per the first merit list in Amravati.
