FYJC General Merit List 2019

The general merit list for admissions to First Year Junior College (FYJC) across Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad is to be announced today on 5th July.

The centralized admission process (CAP) committee received around 84,824 online applications for the Class XI admissions after the 5pm deadline on Thursday.
The online forms were divided into two parts. Both parts needed to be filled and submitted by students till Thursday. Still, some students were not able to complete their forms. Of the 84,824 applications, about 55,884 completed applications were approved.

Chief of the CAP committee, Minakshi Raut, said, “Students were permitted to fill the online forms till the last day of Thursday, after which the link to apply was removed. Students who have not filled the full forms will be discarded. Students had been given enough time to fill the forms. Now if they had not filled or left it blank, they are out of the admission process. No further extension is to be given".

A total of 1,04,139 FYJC seats are up for grabs in colleges located across Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad. The FYJC general merit list 2019 is to be released at 7pm today i.e July 5. Students can then submit objections, corrections, and raise any other issues by 4pm on July 6 and 7.
Guidance centres were set up in nine zones across Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad to guide students about the fyjc online admission process. Students from different boards or from areas outside the Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad municipal limits also got the help of of these centres.
Admission to arts, commerce and science streams is held via an online process. Admissions to night colleges, Hindi and Urdu medium higher secondary schools or junior colleges as well as under management or other quotas are being held offline by the respective institutes.
